What It's About:
Each year, Pack 47 facilitates a food drive within the Merton and surrounding communities. This food drive is officially called "Scouting For Food" and is one of Pack 47's key community service events for the year.

How It Works:
Pack 47 Scouts work together to distribute plastic grocery bags to homes within the Merton and surrounding area. Then, a few weeks later, Scouts return to collect these grocery bags, now filled with generous donations of non-perishable food, toiletries, and baby supplies (diapers, formula). 

The Pack works together to sort all the donations into categories. Then we carefully create boxes stuffed with curated food and toiletry items to go to families within our community. 

In 2022, we collected, sorted, and distributed over 5,000 items. Thank you so much to the Merton community for contributing to this important cause!
